Mack Trucks names Joseph Favia VP for U.S. central region

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Mack Trucks North America has named Joseph Favia regional vice president for the U.S. central region. He will be responsible for increasing market share and profitability.

Favia began his career as a retail salesman at Chicago Mack and most recently served as district sales manager for Mack’s North Central District.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana, and is a graduate of the National Automotive Dealer Association Dealer Academy program and will continue to be based in Illinois.

“Joe will be a great asset to Mack customers within the central region, having served in a number of sales roles during his 34 years with Mack,” said Jonathan Randall, senior vice president of sales for Mack.

Mack is part of the Volvo Group, a leading manufacturer of trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine and industrial engines, with production facilities in 18 countries and product sales in more than 190 markets. The Gothenburg, Sweden-based Volvo Group saw net sales to an estimated $33 billion last year.
