FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Industry innovator QuikQ is introducing new offerings, including a fuel card, that qualify the company as a full-service fuel payment solutions provider and expand its ability to provide innovative and affordable payment solutions to the trucking industry.

QuikQ secured merchant agreements with Love’s Travel Stops, TravelCenters of America, and Pilot Flying J, the three largest truck stop chains in the country.

These merchant agreements combined with independent truck stop agreements give QuikQ a nationwide footprint in an established network of accepting merchants, according to CEO Dean Troester.

QuikQ’s affirmed suite of state-of-the-art solutions includes a payment fuel card; SmartQ, a radio frequency identification (RFID) based card-free system; Start Code, a card-free payment solution that processes transactions initiated with unique identifier codes; and a mobile app. QuikQ also provides Q-Checks, cash advances, payroll cards and more.

“QuikQ products fundamentally improve fuel transaction processing through innovative technology that increases transparency and reduces cost,” Troester said. “We now have a portfolio of solutions that we believe is a more affordable and convenient approach to payment transactions than is available today, so much so that we expect to be the low-cost provider to merchants and fleets.”

QuikQ is led by Troester, a 35-year trucking industry veteran, who joined the QuikQ team in early 2017.

He previously spent 23 years as chief financial officer for Crete Carrier Corp.

Tony McAlister, executive vice president/chief operating officer, comes to QuikQ from Betfair (London) where he most recently served as chief technology officer.

In addition, QuikQ has assembled a diverse management team that brings significant trucking industry, technology, and software expertise.

Based in Franklin, Tennessee, QuikQ is a full-service fuel payment solutions provider, executes payment transactions with a streamlined approach that can reduce fees and create a more direct, transparent relationship between merchants, carriers and payment solutions providers.
