GREEN BAY, Wis. — Schneider, one of the nation’s largest truckload carriers, is immediately expanding by 150 its professional truck driver force in Dallas and the surrounding area to meet a variety of growing business needs across its customer base. Opportunities exist across the company’s driving divisions, including van truckload, dedicated, intermodal, tanker and regional, according to Senior Vice President Rob Reich.
Schneider career opportunities fit any lifestyle, with solo driver time-at-home options ranging from daily to weekly and team driving positions, Reich said, adding that drivers also benefit from recent increased pay packages in most of Schneider’s driving divisions — annual earnings up to $76,000 ($71,000 for team drivers) — along with up to a $7,500 sign-on bonus.
Tuition reimbursement (up to $6,000) and the Military Apprenticeship program (up to $1,236/month) offer recent truck driving school graduates and military veterans and service members additional incentives to join Schneider’s team, he said.
Local, over-the-road and team opportunities are also available for owner-operators, who may choose from percentage or mileage lease options and may be eligible for up to a $7,500 lease-on incentive.
