CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. said Craftsmen Utility Trailer had expanded and completely renovated their Sikeston, Missouri, dealer location.
“Our Sikeston facility was 25 years old and was in need of a ‘facelift,’” said Lou Helmsing, president of Craftsmen Utility Trailer. “In addition, our business has grown tremendously during those years, so the remodel and expansion were needed to better serve our customers and make our employees more efficient.”
All areas of the facility — sales, parts and service — were remodeled, and custom trailer counters were added in all three departments.
In addition, Craftsmen added a new retail parts showroom as well as a 3,300-square foot parts warehouse.
“This allowed us to convert the existing parts area into two additional service bays, upgrading the Service Department to a total of eight service bays,” Helmsing said. “As part of the remodel, we also added a new service entrance, service center, locker room and drivers lounge.”
The address for Craftsmen’s Sikeston facility is 127 Harlene Street, Sikeston, Missouri 63801, which is located at the intersection of Interstate 55 and I-57. The toll free number is (866) 382-5388.
Founded in 1982 in downtown St. Louis, Craftsmen is a regional full service Utility dealership with three locations — St. Charles (St. Louis), Missouri, Sikeston, Missouri and Davenport, Iowa.
