WASHINGTON — It was all green this week for diesel prices.
The overall average price for an on-highway gallon of diesel was down 1.7 cents for the week ending November 5, according to the Energy Information Administration of the Department of Energy.
What’s more, every region of the country showed a decline led by a 2.6 cents a gallon on the West Coast, followed by a 2.5 cent a gallon drop in the Central Atlantic states and a 2.4 cent a gallon drop in the Midwest region.
Despite the decline, the price is still 45.6 cents a gallon higher than for the same week in 2017.
