WASHINGTON — The average on-highway prices of a gallon of diesel dropped another 3.5 cents for the week ending November 19, according to the Energy Information Administration of the Department of Energy.
Since the week ending October 15, the price has gone down 11.2 cents, but it is still 37 cents higher than comparable week in 2017.
The largest regional decline occurred in the Midwest where the price dropped 4.6 cents a gallon. There was a 4-cent a gallon decline along the Gulf Coast, on the West Coast and in California.
The smallest decline — nine tenths of a penny — was reported in the New England.
