Police chased a semi through Alabama counties early Friday morning.
The chase began in Randolph County when law enforcement tried to make a traffic stop, but the semi driver took off and continued on 431, through Chambers County and into Lee County.
Spike Strips were deployed, damaging the truck’s front tires. However, the back tires were not damaged, so the driver continued into Russell County on nothing but rims.
He finally lost control and crashed in the median. Officers had to use a taser to remove him from the cab.
