Cortland, N.Y. — A tractor-trailer driver who crashed his truck on June 15 evening on Interstate 81 near Cortland, New York, was charged with driving drunk.
Syracuse.com reports that emergency crews were called to the accident on I-81 north between Exit 10 and Exit 11. New York State Police reported that the truck had rolled over, blocking traffic.
A Department of Environmental Conservation spill response scene was called to the scene. There is no information as to what the truck was carrying or whether it was flammable.
The driver was charged with driving while intoxicated and no injuries were reported.
