VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — An alleged tractor-trailer thief was captured after crashing the truck on Interstate 4 in Volusia County, Florida.
WKMG reports that tractor-trailer was reported stolen from Deltona, Florida. Witnesses near a gas station at 407 Deltona Blvd. said they saw a man in orange and green swim trunks climb into a tractor-trailer before driving off toward I-4.
The man was later identified as Jeremy Gastineau, 42.
The crash was reported while deputies were responding to the area to look for the tractor-trailer; Gastineau was found in the driver’s seat of the tractor-trailer. Officials said he had lost control of the truck, causing him to block two lanes of traffic on the highway and damage the tractor-trailer.
Gastineau was arrested and taken to a local hospital. While in custody, he allegedly admitted to being under the influence of heroin.
Gastineau faces charges of grand theft over $100,000, driving with a suspended license, and resisting arrest without violence.

Hello.
I wish you would address the present state of our national fleet.
Why is it companies cannot find drivers.
Why are rates lousy. Yet the amount of loads available seams to be high.
Fuel is crazy high.
The only conclusion we owners can come up with is the brokers are making a killing.
I wish there was some sort of way to limit the gouging the brokers are ingaging in.
