Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores opens location in Brownsville, Texas

OKLAHOMA CITY — Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, is now serving customers in Brownsville, Texas, thanks to a new travel stop that opened Thursday.

The location on highways 511 and 48, adds 21 jobs to Cameron County and 39 truck parking spots.

“We’re excited to now be serving customers in Texas’s southernmost town – which also is our southernmost location in all of the U.S.,” said Tom Love, executive chairman and founder of Love’s. “The new location in Brownsville is our 73rd location in Texas and we are happy to give drivers another opportunity to get the great service and products they deserve.”

The Brownsville location is open 24/7 and offers many amenities for customers to enjoy such as Chester’s Chicken, Godfather’s Pizza, five diesel bays, four showers, laundry facilities, bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, brand-name snacks and CAT scales.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and donate $2,000 to the community which will be split between the Brownsville Police Department and the
