It is the biggest reason I prefer to not run in a wolf pack. I try to run ahead or I will let the “racers” go. If they limit trucks to the same speed, you will be seeing a lot of these types of wrecks.

THE CRAZY DRIVING STARTS AT MP130 , I-30 WEST AR. N CONTUIES TO PRESCOTT EXIT , DRIVERS IN GOVERNED TRUCK GETTING PUMPED UP 2 CLIMB THE HILL THEN GO DOWN AS FAST AS THEY CA N . I,M SURPRISED THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN ONCE A WEEK. GOD BLESS THOSE IN ACCIDENT N THEIR FAMILY’S

This wreck was caused by drivers who are wanting to follow to close behind another driver. period. It has nothing to do with governed as all major companies are set at 65 and go 67 or faster down the hill. Its rubber necking plain simple. And from the looks of the trucks they are all owner operators. As I see it all the time following close to save on fuel cost. I have had owner operators follow me for miles with me only going 65 to save on fuel cost and be right on my butt, with no room for braking if anything should happen. So its all about the driver has nothing to do with the truck or trailer. So please stop puting the blame on a piece of metal and put where it belongs behind the wheel….. is all I am going to say. …… thank you and have a nice long drive. I always do with no hick-ups. ….. : )

100% agreed, brother. I saw this wreck on my GPS and stopped at a truck stop before Little Rock to wait it out. Right outside of Little Rock when driving through road work zone these truckers we’re going at least 10 miles over the speed limit. Plus a lot of smaller company drivers cheat on their logbooks. Driving more than 11 hours.

I see a “wolf pack” every day. I simply can’t wrap my head around why a person would put themselves and others around their rig in danger! I get on my radio and usually ask the driver I see tailgating, or as I like to refer to them as Trucking Bullies! If a truck is too close to my DOT bumper, I release my throttle and that usually gets them off my bumper. My personal opinion? Most all accidents involving big rigs are the drivers of these trucks. I’ve recently been assigned a 2022 Cascadia. For me, if I get to close, my lane assist informs me. I increase my following distance. I run 70 at most times. I’ve got one thing to say….HAVE RESPECT FOR YOURSELF, YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND SLOW DOWN! God Bless those families involved 🙏.

I have experienced a wolf pack myself being a new driver but I was taught safety at my orientations! Thank you for teaching me safety first! God bless the families! Amen!

Safety safety safety always gotta b the #1 priority of driving big rig or personal vehicles. As for us in the tractors we no we have to be safe for us an them if ur tired pull over an take a break. We all have to b super safe there are lives at stake🙏For those involved.

Speed. I was right behind this and had to sit for 8 hrs so they could get a path cleared for us to go through. Been driving for 40 years this is the worst I’ve ever seen. It was raining very hard , four wheelers without their lights on some slowed to almost a stop. Then you got trucks still hammered down . thinking I got this ,never thinking about what if someone else doesn’t. Slow down and pay attention
