DALLAS — Thirty thousand pounds of eggs were scrambled Monday morning, May 16, when the tractor-trailer carrying them crashed on Interstate 30 near Dallas.
WFAA reports that the tractor-trailer crashed in the westbound lanes of I-30 justbefore the I-45 interchange. Hundreds of eggs were cracked open in the crash, spilling across the highway, and dozens of boxes were thrown from the truck.

The westbound lanes of I-30 were closed, and traffic was directed to the I-45 exit. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured in the crash.
