JAMAICA — The driver of a tractor-trailer on a dark Jamaican highway kept his cool when a person appeared to push a bike in front of him.
A video, which was published on TikTok, shows a split scene between the dashcam and a camera recording the tractor driver in the cab.
All seems to be going well for the driver, who is traveling down Jamaica’s PJ Patterson Highway, until approximately 21 seconds into the video when a person appears to push an empty bicycle from the right-hand lane into the driver’s path. The driver leans forward when he sees the bike but does not stop. A few seconds later, he is back to driving normally.

Several posters in the comments commended the driver for not stopping, believing it was an attempt at a truck robbery or hijacking, which are not uncommon on Jamaica’s highways.
No word on the name of the company or the driver in the post. Nor was there word on the bike pusher’s motives.
